Deleting any personal information

  Hello,
  I’m contacting you because I would like to delete my account , I’ve already deleted my blog and know that there’s no way as an user to delete my profile. Thank you for reading me and thanks in advance for your help.

  If you follow this procedure, you can sanitize your account here and remove all identifying information from it.

  1. Create a new email account at one of the email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, HotMail, etc., to be used strictly for this purpose and nothing else. Make sure and record this email address and the password just in case you need it in the future.
  2. Set any blogs associated with the account to private or delete them if you wish, at tools > delete site. See this support document on deleting sites: http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ .
  3. Go to users > my profile in the dashboard, remove all of your personal information and save changes.
  4. Go to users > personal settings, scroll down to the Account details section and enter the new email address you created in #1 above. While here, use the Generate strong password button and enter that password as the new account password. Make sure and record this password just in case you should want to reuse the account in the future. Click save changes.
  5. Go to settings > general and under “email address” (this is the admin email address WordPress would use to contact you) enter the new email address you created in #1 above. Click save changes.

  You have now removed all identifying information from your account at WordPress.com.
