Hello, i have the blog address bagologs.wordpress.com but have recently successfully re mapped http://www.finestfirewoodclare.com to the same blog. However if i goggle http://www.finestfirewoodclare.com it does not pick it up, should i goggle bagologs.wordpress.com it finds my blog fine…and shows the same as the blog address, after my paid upgrade my blog address should be http://www.finestfirewoodclare.com especially as it is now my primary domain. WHY? is my address still under the domain of bagologs.wordpress.com

I see that you just recently added the domain mapping. Please note that it can take Google 4-6 weeks to update their index. WordPress.com has no control on how your site appears in the Google index and in which position.
You can try verifying your site at Google with these instructions. This may help:

Thanks Grace, i actually just googled the words in my domain and the search engine picked it up, brilliant, that is actually less than 48 hrs. so job done, now all i have to do is learn the art of climbing the google ladder….thanks for your help. Andrew.

Hi Grace, is there a limit to how many domains i can point to my wordpress blog, i apologise for maybe a silly question, but being new to this crack i get a little confused by jargon and asking directly seems a convenient approach.

Well only 2 or 3 maybe 4 or 5, i am guessing that by using different domains is a very good way to get your key words straight to the crux of the matter as far as google is concerned…for example i own Finestfirewoodclare.com and i am actually first on google when you enter ‘firewood clare’, however should you goggle ‘clare firewood’ i come up on page 3, so i am thinking that if i purchased clarefirewood.com and pointed it at my wordpress then the search ‘clare firewood’ would come up higher google also. However i am not sure how many domains i can point at my wordpress, i have been told i can point numerous domains, but i am looking for confirmation from those who know, before i go mad purchasing every mix of key words known to man.

When i pointed my last domain to my wordpress, it cost me a small fee i think £13 or €13, would that fee apply to each domain i point at wordpress or is there a bulk discount, thanks for your help Grace it is most appreciated.
