Deleting blog
-
I have a blog on wordpress.com that I want to delete because I now have one I’m hosting myself from wordpress.org and my info from the wordpress.org one keeps showing up in the wordpress.com blog. First of all, I cannot find anywhere how to actually delete it and second, because the info keeps cross-populating, when i finally figure out to delete it, will it interfere with the blog I have hosted with my own domain?
My wordpress.com blog is izzywig.wordpress.com
My wordpress.org blog is http://www.izzymom.comPlease advise. thanks.

If you go to your dashboard then go to options there is a bit of text that says “delete blog”.
Before you do that, what do you mean by cross-populating?
I’ve had a peek at your hosted blog (nice work by the way!) and can see nothing there from your wp.com blog.
Also – have you taken everything that you want from your wp.com blog? Once you delete it it cannot be recovered – it’s gone!

Deleteing your blog here on WP.com space will not affect your blog hosted elsewhere.
A better solution for the time being though is putting up a last post stating that you have moved elsewhere. That way, you don’t have your visitors wondering where you went. Plus you do get another inbound link with the search engines which is always a plus. :)

Hi there,
I had sent feedback about deleting my blog, but I’ll try here as well because I haven’t gotten any follow-ups.
I deleted one of my blogs (http://sarine.wordpress.com) over two weeks ago, but when I log into WP.com, it is still linked to my main screen and dashboard. When I click on the link, it says that the blog is deleted.
How do I get this URL or blog deleted completely from my main screen? I have tried to log out, clear my cache (even closed browsers and starting over!) and log back in.
Thanks in advance,

And I´m trying deleting my blog but I don´t recieve the e-mail that I´m supposed to get. I´ve removed the filter from my mail that stops spam but still no mail.
What else to do? -
