Deleting blog

  Hi, I would like to repurpose my (purchased) domain and I want to know how to delete my blog. I found that it can’t be deleted because it is outside ISP so I thought I could purchase a free domain on WordPress, move my existing blog there and then delete it. Would it be possible? Or is there another way like ending hosting? What would happen with my blog if I would cancel hosting or domain itself?

  Do not cancel a domain if you wish to transfer it to a different owner, site, or registrar, or if you’re only trying to make changes to your site or account.

  Canceling a domain registration means:

  You are giving up the right to use that domain.
  Your site may stop working.
  The domain can be lost permanently.
