Deleting blog

  I want to close down my blog and wondering if there is a way for me to retain what I have written along with my photos

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy,

  Possibly the best idea would be to mark the site as Private (instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ ).

  With the site marked private, no one except you and other users you’ve selected could access the site.

  Additionally, you can export your site’s writings using our Export feature ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ ). The images would not be included, though, unless you either manually downloaded them (right click, save as…) or if you imported your site into another WordPress site (either on WordPress.com or a self-hosted site with a provider of your choosing) and opted to import the images.

  Of course. Not to throw more into the mix, but your site will continue as long as you like, even if the domain expires. No rush as far as maintaining the content.
