Deleting blog

  I deleted the blog jeepmasters.wordpress blog, as we now have a site up at jeepmasters.com. However, the site is still up. I do not have it listed in my blogs, so I can no longer get to the dashboard.

  How long does it take for the site to be removed by WordPress?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you indeed deleted it, it should be gone now. I will flag this for staff to remove it.

  If you want to permanently delete your site, follow the guide below:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/

  Note that only the blog owner (jeepmasters) can delete the blog.

  Kardotim, I did follow the guide you mentioned. I was logged in as the administrator and followed each step. I did delete the blog according to the instructions.

  Now, it will not allow me to log back into the site, so even if I wanted to try again, it would not allow me to do this.

  Also, Kardotim, jeepmasters.wordpress was listed in My Blogs, until it deleted it. Not is no longer listed. I suspected that some part of the deletion must have gotten hung up.

  Any suggestions on how we can get the site taken down?

  Only the blog owner (jeepmasters) is able to fully delete the website. Even if an administrator requested a deletion, the blog owner receives a confirmation e-mail to do the final confirm.

  If you forgot the password of the ‘jeepmasters’ account, you can reset it at:
  http://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Again, Kardotim, I am the owner of the blog. Jeepmasters was set up by me and I was the contact. I received an email and confirmed the deletion. It was deleted from my list of blogs in my dashboard, but the site remains.

  And, I have attempted to get back into the account, but it will not allow me to do so.

  If you were able to receive the deletion confirmation e-mail, then you should be able to reset the password of the ‘jeepmasters’ account too. You can do this at http://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Once you have access to the blog owner’s account, reply back in this thread to verify the blog ownership, or send us an e-mail from e-mail address associated with the blog owner’s account. You can send it to this e-mail address.

  However, I don’t see either of your account being associated with jeepmasters.wordpress.com in the past. Is it possible that you are referring to a different blog address instead? Also the name of the account owner’s profile is different than yours.

  Anyhow, please follow the above instructions and let me know if you need any further assistance.
