Deleting blog by accident

  Hi,

  yesterday I deleted newly created blog by accident. There wasn’t anything written on it, so I didn’t mind, till I found out my domain I used is no available anymore. However, I’ve checked it and it turned out the domain isn’t used by anybody, but the wordpress doesn’t allow me to reuse it.

  What should I do? I don’t want to change the name!

  I’m sorry but there are three warnings given and a verfifictation link in an email to delete a blog. That’s because there is no recycling of deleted blog addresses ie. URLs at WordPress.com. You will have to register another blog with a similar name.

  The problem was I was trying to delete my other blog. I simply misread the name.

  Well, I made my mind to stop using wordpress altogether. That’s probably the most used-unfriendly page I’ve every seen. Not only it doesn’t allow me to change name, but also doesn’t allow me to delete my profile.

  You can always register a placeholder blog and use the Custom domain to make it Whatever.com instead.
