Deleting Blog & Content/Keep domain reg?

  I have two blogs:
  http://cranleighmatters.com and
  http://waverleymatters.com
  both domains have private registration & domain mapping – the 1st site redirects to the 2nd and the 2nd is mapped to the first (if that makes sense – or that is how i understand it!) the 2nd site is the primary domain.
  I want to delete both sites – but still want to keep the domains – is this possible – from what i understand I can’t as I have tried to ‘delete site’ but it won’t work. the first site (cranleightmatters) is due to expire (Expiring – will stop functioning on January 22, 2016) tho’ i have just paid for another year domain:

  so my question is, how can i delete the blogs, but keep the domains? I don’t want to set it to private – i want the content/site down and not findable anymore – can anyone please help?

  For starters you can clear the contents

  and not findable anymore

  Note: deleting contents from a site or deleting the site does not remove the content from search engines – it takes months for caches to be updated and some search engines never seem to forget

  also you need a live dashboard to manage your registration so deleting the blog itself means you can’t manage the custom domain

  Empty Site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  If you have too much content to empty the site yourself you can have the staff empty the site for you.

  NOTE: Once content is deleted and the Trash emptied you will never get your content back.

  thank you for your help – I have deleted all the content but I still want to delete the sites – i have paid today for a years renewal but I still want to delete them. once they are deleted and I don’t have access to them – when will it become available for someone else to take?

  also how to i get through to staff support that i need these deleted?
