Deleting blog where I no longer have access too

    Would it be possible to delete or set private the more then 10 year old blog please that I no longer have access too?

    I have the exact same email address name as one of the people (me) on this more then 10 year old blog. I was the original creator of this wordpress site many moons ago for a school trip. I no longer know the account info. This is also not the first time that I asked to access/delete this site (albeit last time I asked it was years ago, perhaps you have records about that).

    If recovery is not possible, can you either delete the blog or set it to private? I highly doubt that this blog has a lot of traffic. Besides it’s no longer accurate, I prefer sushi over lasagna now…

    Only the site’s owner can delete it.

    I tried that but it requires the original email address and either transaction ID, activation url/key or two-step authentication code. I have non of that information.

    The support page also mentions the below

    If Ownership Cannot be Established
    In the event that it isn’t possible to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, access to the account cannot be granted for security purposes.

    We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.

    The following options are available in this circumstance:

    If there’s personal information on your blog, you may request that we set it to private so that search engines and users can’t access it.
    If the site is set to private but still shows up in Google search results, you will need to wait until your results drop in the search engine. You may request that Google remove a website from their index through the website removal request tool.
    You can opt out of seeing ads personalized based on your visits to sites in the WordPress.com network.
    If you want to start blogging again, you can create a new account by signing up here.

    The blog contains personal information about me. Can you set it to private?
