Deleting blog without deleting account

  With the newly added possibility of creating an account, without creating a blog, is it then possible to remove a blog, without removing the account?

  Yes – if all you ever wanted was the API key, just delete the blog. The key will still be yours.

  Hi,

  I was about to ask the same question :-)

  So if I just need my WordPress.com API Key, it is fine to just delete my blog. However…

  How do I know if my WordPress.com API Key has not been deleted in the process? Well, probably I could just check it with an Akismet request from another blog, still…

  …or what if I would also want to get rid of the key?

  May I suggest to write something about it in that FAQ?

  Give me a chance – it only happened late last night – I’m in the UK

  Kill blog, keep the key.
  Your name is attached to the key, not the blog.
