Deleting blogs

Hello!
I want to delete my blog. The first one I made is http://micolle03.wordpress.com/ but i changed it to http://micolle.wordpress.com/. Now I kept the http://micolle03.wordpress.com/ hidden but i want it to permanently delete it. I keep my blog posts to “micolle” but I guess it also automatically appears in micolle03. I’m afraid that if i’m going to delete that blog(micolle03), it’ll also delete my micolle blog which i’m currently using… Can someone help me please.. Thanks!

You just have to make sure that you are in the particular dashboard of the blog that you want to delete before you start the process.
I always suggest that you go to settings > privacy and make the unwanted blog private and then you can use it for testing out themes and such and not have to worry about messing up your live blog or something. It doesn’t hurt anything to just keep it and leave it set to private. No one will be able to see it except for you.

If you just switched to the new blog recently, it can take up to 6 months to recover your search engine ranking with the new blog, and it can also take that long before the old one will mostly disappear. I say mostly since if anyone anywhere on the web has linked to the old blog, a few links to it might stick around for a long time. I have a blog I set to private over 3 years ago and there are still two links to it that show up in google.

When I google it, i only see the old blog but not the new one.. I don’t worry of the ranking as long as my new blog is searchable but it doesn’t appear.

Your new site looks like it is only one week old or so with three Posts – it can take Google 4 to 6 weeks to index a new site, WordPress does call up the search engines every time you make a Post and says “stop on by.”
Patience Grasshopper – keep on writing and your new site will show up. You can also verify ownership of your new Blog with Google and others if you want and that should also help speed things up a bit.

I did the webmaster tools thing 7 hours ago. I guess it’ll take at least a day to refresh or something. And yes, it’s actually 10days old. Suppose I was just too frantic to work things up. hahaha… Thank you so much for your help. :)
