Deleting 'categories'

  Hi there! I have made a couple of categories in the new blog section in the process of starting my blog, that I am actually not going to be using. I was wondering if there is a way to delete them? Thank you!

  Hi, go to your dashboard, the admin sidebar. Click posts, then click categories, you can edit and delete them there.

  It doesn’t work that way for me :/ I think it might be because I have the free version? When I go to posts, all I see is the posts I have created, and when I go in to edit one to view “categories” (which is the only way I can see them), I only have the option to add new caregories, not delete them.

  For the free version and paid it’s the same. When you’re logged into your dashboard, try this: find “WP Admin” in the left sidebar, click on it, then hover over Posts, then click Categories. Then you’ll be able to delete.
