Deleting categories

  Hello, i started with a list of categories before writing posts. Now i want to delete those categories but i am not able to. Please help

  You can update categories in your WP Admin Dashboard; you can access this by adding /wp-admin/ to the end of your website address. For example, http://yoursiteaddress.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  You can then edit categories under Posts -> Categories in your dashboard. Move your mouse over a category and several options will appear that allow you to edit, quick-edit, or delete that category.

  It’s now also possible to edit categories in the Calypso (new/blue) dashboard however bulk edit of categories and tags is only available in the WP Admin dashboard (for now).
