Deleting categories

  How do I delete categories ? And how do I navigate to WP Admin to do that ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If you want to delete the categories by following below steps:
  1- Go to My Site → Settings → Writing.
  2- There you will see an option of categories, click on it.
  3- In the next screen you will see the list of categories and the default category.
  4- Click on the three dots next to any category. select the option of delete.

  To navigate to WP Admin, add “wp-admin” after your website Url

  If you want to delete the categories through wp-admin, follow the steps:
  1- Go to Posts -> Categories.
  2- Here if you move your mouse over a category a set of options will appear, allowing you to delete that category.
  3- Clicking on Delete will delete that category.

  Note: When a category is deleted, all posts that were only in that category will be assigned to the default category. If a post was also in other categories it will remain untouched.
  You cannot delete the default category.
