Deleting comment section on a page

  I want my site to look more like a website instead of a blog. How do I get rid of the comment section on a page? I unchecked all of the boxes under the discussion settings and it still appears on my page when I view my site. How do I delete this section?

  Hi. Disabling comments only applies to posts/pages created after that setting is changed. Old pages retain their original comment setting. But, that’s easy enough to fix. Just bulk edit your existing pages and disable comments. See the link below for details on bulk editing. That one is for pages but it works the same way for posts.
