Deleting comments

  Hi guys,

  I have made a comment on this page – https://janeyenglish.wordpress.com/2012/10/07/anti-muslim-grooming-demo-ends-in-burning-of-saudi-flag-of-hate-casualsunited-edl-evf-britainfirst/#comment-322

  It is from my Facebook account.

  I was just wondering how I can delete it?

  Hi there. I’m afraid you can’t delete comments that you made on someone else’s blog. Only blog owners have the power to delete comments on their blogs, so I suggest you try contacting the owner of that blog and ask them to delete the comment.

  Thank you for your reply.
  I have contacted them, and they are willing to delete it, but they can not remember their email address for their account.
  Therefore they can not log in to delete the comment / blog.

  Any advice on how to resolve this?

  To regain access to their account they’ll have to fill out the Account Recovery Form. On that form they can provide an email address where the account recovery staff can contact them to help them regain access.   What if they do not have Internet access at the moment and are unable to remove the blog?
  Is there anything WordPress can do to delete it?

  Afraid not. Only the blog owner can delete comments. The only way staff could help is if the blog owner themselves posted here while logged into the account that owns the blog.
