  I would like to delete my old blog and start afresh, how do I do this? thanks :-)

  Here’s a step-by-step guide for deleting your blog: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Please note the following, before proceeding to the site’s deletion:

  1) The site owner is the only person who can delete a site.

  2) Once you delete the blog, you won’t be able to re-establish it, as also your URL address will be gone. Therefore, you won’t be able to re-use the URL anymore. If you think you might use the site URL address in the future, you may want to empty the blog from your current content and set it as private, so that people and search engines can’t access it.
