  I am an absolute (senior) beginner and am having trouble getting set up can you please delete what I have done so that I can have another go at it?

  Your site is private so I can’t see how much content you have placed on your site in the 24 hours since you created it. Posts and pages can easily be trashed. If there are numerous posts you can always click on “Settings” and scroll down on the right to “Delete your content”. I’m aware that this thread has a “Duplicate” tag and you posted also here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/setting-up-19?replies=2#post-3086206 but I wasn’t sure if that reply fully addressed your issue about starting again.

  @themagicrobot – just to keep everything in one place, it might be better to answer on that thread and then reference this one in your reply. :) If needed, I delete exact duplicate threads that have no answer. Other duplicates get closed.
