Deleting Dates on Posts

  Is there a way I can take the date off my posts?

  Dates are embedded in the URLs of every post we publish and we cannot change permalink structure.

  Some themes also display dates and some do not. You can either choose to use a theme that does not display dates or you can purchase a custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing to move the date.

  Thank you for your help. So, what you’re saying is that I have to go back and re-create my entire website under a different category when you recommend I change my “theme’?

  No I’m saying the dates embedded in URLs cannot be removed from them period.

  But If you have CSS editing experience and are willing to purchase an annually renewable cusom design upgrade then you can do the required CSS editing to remove the dates displaying on the blog posts (not the ones embedded in the URLs).

  If you don’t have CSS editing experience and/or are unwilling to purchase the upgrade so your can remove the gates appearing on the blog posts then you can switch to using a theme that does not display dates.

  Here’s an example of the date displaying above the post title on your blog:
  October 12, 2012
  Appreciating Italy’s Tirolian Gold
  That October 12, 2012 date and all dates appearing above posts throughout the blog can be removed from displaying via CSS editing.

  Changing themes is easy to do and no data is ever lost. However, a new theme may have different sidebars and footers for widgets and or different features. You can go here Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and select a new theme and activate it. After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets and re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.
