Deleting + Deactivating Account

Hi there! I’m wanting to Delete + Deavtivate My Account. How do I make sure that another $300 Yearly charge won’t be automatically taken out of my account end of next month? & will my site remain until the time I paid up until this YR? Or deletes immediately & pro-rates a return? Love my Website – but I’m unable to afford $300 a YR. Thank you!

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

I took a look, and it doesn’t look like there’s any history of purchases, transactions, or billing activity under the account you’re currently logged into, so we’re limited to what we can help with and advise here.

Can you let us know the URL of the site where you have an upgrade? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.

    Thank you!

& I couldn’t find Purchase History stored either – but its automatically charged my card near end of July / early August the past cpl yrs.

Thanks for that! It looks like you’re not logged into the correct account that owns the upgrades for this website.

If you don’t remember the login for this account, since you have access to the bank statements with the charges and transaction IDs, you can use our account recovery process to prove ownership of the account, then WordPress.com support can help you set the plan to not renew (it’s set to renew August 1st). You can find that form here:

    https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery

Just fill out as much information as you have, including an email address where Support can get in touch. The transaction ID will be on your bank statement as WordPress followed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:

    WordPress XXXXXXXXXX

You can read more about what the account recovery process entails here:

    Hope that helps!
