Deleting Dead Subscribers
-
I have 4 e-mail address in our subscriber list that are dead addresses. They are addresses created by our company for people that no longer work here. Their e-mail addresses were deleted months ago but I see they still appear in our site subscription list.
How do I clean up the list and remove the dead e-mail addresses?

Generally even Administrator cannot delete or block any subscribers.
Only subscribers can remove themselves by unsubscribing. But since your subscribers are inactive, I am unsure how can we get rid of them.
I tagged this thread for Staff’s help. Please wait until they can respond.

Hi Dan,
I have responded to you privately. Please check your email and respond from there if you have any questions.

I don’t get this. If I don’t wish someone to subscribe to my blog, then I should be able to remove them from my subscription list.
After all, it’s my blog.
What exactly is the rationale for this?

Your blog is open to the worldwide public. It’s the whole point. Anyone could bookmark it and it would be the same as a subscription.
If that’s not what you want, you should make it private with member access only.
