Deleting DNS entries

  I am trying to delete records from my domain’s DNS.

  I press the three dots and choose Delete.

  The record dims and goes grey, I get a popup notification telling me the record has been deleted. Then the record darkens again. I do a dig of the domain and the record is still present, even after a killall of my mDNSResponder.

  This is stopping me from migrating my mail service to a new supplier. Help!

  It is probably relevant that the entries I want to delete are the googlemail MX entries. If I create a brand new MX entry I can delete that fine.

  Figured it out. Had to use the wizard to connect to iCloud mail server, as the other entries were being pinned due to my earlier connection to Google Mail.

  I’m glad to hear that you managed to remove the MX records for Google. I checked the domain just now, and I only see the MX records for iCloud.
