Deleting Domain Map on Non-Existing Blog Site
-
Originally, I had a blog named daveosei.wordpress.com. I deleted the site, but I had my ftp host map it’s domain to the above wordpress site. Now I can’t unlink the two – if I visit daveosei.com, it keeps trying to head to the old blog site I deleted purposely since I want to manually install wordpress onto my ftp.
How do I cut off the domain mapping that apparently my site is still trying to reference on a non existing blog site?
I can’t re-install wordpress again because I get the error “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found.” I get this error when having the files necessary on my ftp server and typing in “http://daveosei.com/wp-admin/install.php” to install.
This single-handedly stalls everything I’m trying to do – install WordPress onto my ftp domain.

Actually, you’ve already removed your domain mapping for your account.
You’ll need to change your domain’s nameservers through your domain registrar to direct them to your new hosting provider.

Yes, it appears I just needed to wait for the nameservers to change over which took 24hours.
Thanx again.
