Deleting domain mapping to a deleted site

  Hi

  I have deleted my blog lucyxiaophotography.wordpress.com a while ago but I’ve noticed my domain name is still mapped to the deleted site.

  Can I have the domain mapping to the deleted site deleted?

  Hi there,
  Could you please let us know the name of the Deleted site and the domain linked to the site. With out these it is impossible for the volunteers to help you.

  The deleted site is lucyxiaophotography.wordpress.com and the domain is lucyxiao.com

  You don’t need to delete any mapping from the deleted WordPress.com site. You just need login to Godaddy and change the Name servers to point to your web host. As soon as you update the name servers, they will no longer be linked to your WordPress.com site.

  In addition to what @simplysaru mentioned, you would want to cancel the Domain Mapping Upgrade at WordPress.com as well.

  You can do that on My Upgrades page:

  Hey all! I tried 1. Changing my nameservers back to namecheap’s and 2. WP’s cancel/refund link for the mapping upgrade isn’t working, looks like it’s broken (only the close button renders on the pop up box). Anyone know how to get in contact with a real person? This is stressing me out!

  What are your issues with regards to WordPress.com? The solution that was offered to @lucyxphotos might not work for you. Please start a new support thread and one of the volunteers or a staff will get back to you with a specific solution tailored for your problem.
