Deleting domain

  I think I have a related question (maybe easier). I’d like my second blog to show up with my member name but it will only post my original blog which is unfinished. The new one is at howtomakelemonade.wordpress.com. Can I attach that one to my Icon with psychmatters?

  Sorry to pile on, but I’d like to delete the domain I bought this morning (9/17/10) because I do not understand well enough how to use it in conjunction with my primary blog, Writersrest. I want blogs to be autonomous rather than mapped to each other.

  I have been contacting you as well in another forum but received no response! i inadvertently subscribed for domain mapping and I need to cancel but there was no cancel button. I registered yesterday. Please someone can flaxentawny.com for us. It is causing a lot of issues for our blog.

  I’ve canceled the domain. Since you mentioned purchasing a different domain, I have not refunded your purchase but instead credited your WordPress.com account for hte value of the domain purchase.

  You can now purchase another domain and you will not need to enter payment information again—the system will offer to let you purchase the domain using your credits.

  If you want a refund instead, please let us know.

  I did not delete this domain because it sounds like you have a question about it.

  If you want to switch your WordPress.com blog to your purchased domain, you need to go to Upgrades > Domains in your Dashboard and switch your purchased domain to be the primary.

  When you map a domain, you must choose one to be the “final destination” for all visits to your blog. You can’t maintain both the WordPress.com domain and your purchased domain.

  If you’d rather receive a refund, please let us know.

  Thanks — that is what I realized a bit too late. What I need to do is create a second wordpress.com blog (not writersrest) and map THAT one to celandanna.com. So I think I need to delete, get a refund, and start over. My mistake.
