Deleting duplicate comments

  Hello all,

  I’m wondering if there’s an easy/quicker way to delete duplicate comments on my blog.

  I’ve imported my Blogger blog to my wordpress blog and I think I somehow messed up because most (if not all) of my posts have the comments duplicated.

  Is there a way to remove duplicate comments without having to go into each of my posts and duplicate them manually?

  Yes, on your Dashboard you can go to the Comments page and bulk edit them there. Click the tickbox on the ones you want to delete and then click Delete under Actions.

  @raincoaster No no he want to delete the spammed comments means duplicate comments not all .

  Then he only selects the ones he wants to delete.

  But he is saying quicker and easy way thats the prob that first he has to find then select and then delete them . I think this is not easy way

  Thanks to both of you for offering your help. It’s appreciated. :)

  Actually, I did know about the suggestion Raincoaster offered. I guess I was just hoping there was an option such as “Delete all duplicate comments”…and do it all in one fell swoop.

  I reckon I’m just being lazy. :) I guess there isn’t.
