Deleting empty pages/customizing format made my posts disapear
-
I customized the layout of my page to make my home page “articles” which is where i post and also where my posts are placed. I then deleted two unnecessary pages with nothing on them. Now all of my posts have disappeared and the pages are in disarray. I moved my pages back from the trash but my posts are still nowhere to be seen. Anyone have a solution?
thanks!

I’m seeing your posts on your homepage, so I guess you resolved this part of your problem.
If you want “Articles” to link to your homepage, you need to correct the custom menu you have created. (You are using a custom menu, aren’t you?) Go to Appearance > Menus, open and delete the current Articles item, click View All in the Pages module, select the topmost item (Home link), click Add to Menu, drag to move to top position, relabel it Articles, save.
As for the items “Good Art” and “Food. Beer. Spirits.”, what are they supposed to be? useless? pages? post categories?

Thank you! When I open the menus screen from “customize” it actually only has “about” and “links” as an option. Maybe I haven’t created correctly?
And yes-I would like to delete the other two for now.

You’re welcome.
I didn’t say go to Appearance > Customize, I said go to Appearance > Menus. -
Awesome, looks like that worked!
Now i just have to get the picture loaded to my page to actually appear on the Article home page
