Deleting expired domain
-
Hi,
I didn’t renew my http://www.doie.org domain – which is expired on september 11. Now I want to delete the site doie.org and doie.wordpress.org as well, and I am having trouble with it.
When I go to tools>delete site, it shows the following:
Warning! You cannot delete a blog if the blog has a domain registration upgrade. You must have access to the blog in order to get to the domain manager.
If you do not want to use your blog any more please make it private. Other users won’t be able to visit the blog but you can still access the Dashboard so you can get to the domain manager.
Doie is no longer existing, so I don’t want to transfer the domanin – I want simply to delete it. Can you help me?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there, I’ve canceled doie.org as per your request and deleted it from your WordPress.com account. You now can delete http://doie.wordpress.com if you wish or, if you think you might want to use it again at some point in the future, you can hide via Settings > Privacy option.
