Deleting followers

  I’ve searched the forums enough to know that when switching from a public setting to a private one, existing followers no longer receive notifications of new posts and can no longer view the blog. However, I would still be much more comfortable removing them completely. I see conflicting responses on whether or not staff will do this for us but I’ll give it a go and see.

  I’d like these two followers removed:
  Stephen Williams
  mmecrabe

  Hello there!

  Unfortunately, followers cannot be removed from WordPress.com sites. However, you have done exactly the right thing — your private site will keep them from being able to view your blog at all.
