Deleting followers

  I deleted a follower, but they are still getting my posts. When I go to Users >> Invite New, There name and email do not appear, but when I post they receive the email. How can I make it so they can’t get the email and is this happening with others who have been deleted?

  We cannot block or delete subscribers from public blogs. Everyone on the internet can view and follow any public blog. That is in fact what the public designation means.

  Note that you have complete control over everything that’s posted to your blog.

  I feel it unfair that I cannot block someone who is extremely right wing and ultra religious. I understand the concept of public but I should have some control over who follows my work. If wordpress is going to allow this, perhaps I need to look at moving my content to an alternate site.

  You are missing the point completely. Either you accept reality and make your blog private or you don’t. Our reality is that anyone can follow any public blog in an RSS Feed reader. Anyone can get a new IP address in seconds flat and subscribe again. Anyone can get a router and get a different IP address and subscribe again. However, we don’t have to approve any comments made by any trolls (right wing religious fundamentalist or not). We have complete control over everything that’s posted to our blogs via comment moderation.
