Deleting Gravatar Image

  I recently clicked to delete my blog icon image and then went to my gravatar profile and clicked to delete my gravatar image, in preparation for deleting my site altogether.

  However it has already been several hours and neither my gravatar profile image nor my blog’s icon image have been deleted. They still appear like if I never deleted them at all.

  When will the images be deleted? How long can I expect it to be before they fully disappear and don’t show up at all anymore?

  Could you confirm if you are wanting to delete Gravatar profile or just Gravatar image only?

  Please note that you cannot delete your Gravatar profile. You can only make it private.

  Also note that you don’t have to delete Gravatar profile in order to be able to delete your blog.

  I know that profiles can’t be deleted, and I know that profiles don’t have to be deleted to be able to delete my blog.

  What I was asking was how long it would take for my gravatar image to totally disappear once I deleted it. It still appears on my gravatar profile, and I don’t want to privatize my profile and delete my blog before I’m sure that the image has completely and totally disappeared.
