Deleting image permanently

  Hi,
  I have been trying to delete an image on our now private blog. I have done so but the associate link still shows the image. What can I do to remove it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  See the Deleting Files support page for relevant information and instructions. If you merely merely remove the image from a page or post, for example, it remains in the media library.

  Sorry. One “merely” would have been enough.
