deleting images from my site.

  After deleting images from the media library, the direct web addresses to the files might continue to work for up, as they are cached. How long does it take?
  I must delete one image premanently.
  Is there anything I can do to delete it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  By clearing your browser’s cache will delete the images locally.

  Your images will eventually be deleted from the internet, but we can’t control when this will happen. To speed up the process you can ask Google to delete content from its cache.

  To keep things running quickly around here, files are held in multiple caches through a separate system. These caches are usually cleared within 3 days and the deleted files will then become 404 page not found.
  
  IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting public blogs and/or blog content from them does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

  @fstat, I cannot ask Google to clear up its caché while the image is still there.
  
  @timethief, I will wait for 3 days… let’s see. After deleted I will ask Google to remove the SERP.
