Deleting Inactive Blogs

Is there any way that WordPress.com could remove a website that has been inactive for 3 years? Or possibly give me a form or some secure way to contact the owner?

Thank you for any help. Please don’t be rude like the people I’ve dealt with at WordPress.org’s forums.

This really depends on which websites you are talking about? Are these your blogs that you want to delete, or are these someone else’s who you are wanting to remove? Cause if they aren’t yours, there’s nothing you can do about them, since they aren’t yours, and wordpress will not provide any contact information on the owners of a particular blog. I’m guessing you may be after the domain of an inactive blog, but unfortunately unless you can contact the owner (via a comment, or some means you can find on the blog itself, and they transfer the blog to you) there is nothing that you can do to get that blog’s URL. Those URLs are kept with that blog forever, they aren’t turned over, or recycled.

…if you can see the blog, leave a comment on whatever post they have up, or on their About page (just add ‘/about’ to their URL), the comment will go to whatever email address they used when they started up the blog.

That’s really about it. WordPress does not recycle, or hand over the keys to inactive blogs.

    Hope this helps.
