Deleting Inactive Blogs
-
In the “my blogs” section I have several listed but I only actually use 3 of them. I’m wondering how I can delete the other ones. I know there has to be an easy way and I’m probably just dumb for not seeing it, but can someone help me out?
Also, some of them actually say “inactive” next to the name, and others don’t. What’s the difference? I haven’t used any of them in a very long time. Why don’t they all say inactive?
Thanks for the help

My help question is for WordPress.com blogs. The ones I have self hosted are fine and don’t require any assistance.
I have several free @wordpress.com blogs in the “my blogs” section that I’d like to just delete because I’ll never use them.

Were the inactive blogs using the JetPack plugin?
If so, list them and the staff can remove them for you
I will flag this for the staff to help

If they are old-blog.wordpress.com – then log into that blog and go the Dashboard >> Tools >> delete blog
Note that once a blog URL is deleted it can never be used again – you can also set the blog to Private and it will just site there until you want to use it again

Please let us know which blog URL you want to remove from your account. Looking forward to your reply.
