Deleting MENU in phone mode.

Hi
I have succesfully deleted the primary menu as I only want a menu in the widget. However, the word MENU is still appearing at the top of the screen on phones. I can see it when editing in phone mode but there seems no way to delete it.Any help appreciated.

Is the word “menu” a link or just text? If it’s a link, what happens if you click on it?

It’s just text, albeit the cursor reacts as though it’s a link. Nothing happens when I click on it. -
You refer to a phone. Which one?
