  Please be aware that if you just want to delete your site, and keep your account, you can check out how to do that here.

  Accounts on WordPress.com can’t be totally deleted since the staff at WordPress.com don’t want other people to use your username in the future. It is however possible to empty your account with all your real info and put in an email address you don’t use, so you won’t have to deal with the account ever again.
