  Hi there,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. However, you can easily empty and delete your site. If you wish to leave WordPress.com, you can just leave your account inactive. You can read more here:

  Does leaving my account inactive also mean that any recurring fees will stop being charged?

  No, you have to manually cancel your annual upgrades. Go to the Purchases page and read here you to cancel or turn off automatic renewal for your upgrades:
