Deleting my account

    Hello just one question. It says that if I delete my account I will lose all my pages, posts, sites, domains and GRAVATAR (the only thing I want to get rid off).

    Does that mean all the website I’ve done in the past year with my EMAIL on with WordPress across all different domains will be deleted if I deactivate my account ?

    Hi – Which sites are you inquiring about? Happy to take a look. But, yes, you need an account in order for the sites to remain active.

    Hello.

    I am asking about sites that I did using the same email (email visible only to moderators and staff) such as:

    – jure.anzeljc.si
    – https://legit.si/
    – https://uvichair.com/
    – and others

    Are the sites going to be deleted? And what about posts I did on those sites?

    Hi legitjure,

    Closing your account will only delete sites created and hosted on WordPress.com — there are none owned by the legitjure account you are contacting us from.

    The three sites you listed were created using WordPress.org software and are hosted elsewhere:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    They have no connection to WordPress.com so deleting your account here won’t remove these sites or any of the content published there.

    The login details for those sites are stored on your host’s server, which means those accounts are separate from the one you have created on WordPress.com — even if they were all using the same email address.
