Deleting my account

  Hello, I would like to completely remove my account. I have deleted all the site content and was following the Delete account” guidance. However, I dont see the “close your account permanently option”. I dont have any purchases. Can you please advise me what to do to be able to permanently delete my account?

  Hi Vera,

  If you click on your profile icon on the top right-hand side of the page next to the Write button, select Account Settings, and then scroll down to the bottom of the account settings page, there should be an option called ‘Close your account permanently’. Selecting this option should delete all your sites, data and close your account permanently.

  Hello happyvimes,

  This is what I was trying, however, I just dont see that option in my app.

  In my account setting I only see the following:
  User name
  Email
  Change password
  Primary site
  Web address

  There is nothing more on that page.

  Any suggestions?

  “Close account” should be there if you scroll down right to the very bottom. If that feature is missing in the app could you try from a PC?
