Deleting my account

    Hello
    It is very very late, and I have gone down a hole into my WordPress as a new user again. I signed up for Gravatar to change my profile picture, however I did not use the same password as I use to log into my WordPress account, stupidly like it told me to. I thought I could delete my account and try again, although it says my site will be deleted otherwise. Now, I know this account isn’t connected to my website as when I click on ‘My Site’ in the top left it takes me to a ‘You haven’t created a site yet, create one now’ page, but I did use the same email address as my admin email in my WordPress account, so I am very scared it will delete it, somehow, but I am probably just being paranoid. My question is, how do I fix this? Is there a way to link this account to my website and WordPress account, or is it fine if I delete this account and start over by actually logging into my WordPress account this time?

    I understand how scary it can be. But there’s nothing to worry about, let’s fix this!

    Could you please share your website address?

    When you delete an account, everyone vanishes. So, if you want to keep your website live, you need a WordPres.com account.

    If you created your website using any other account, you can log in to that account and access your site. And if you wish, you can transfer your website from an old account to your new account.
