Deleting my account.

    Hello.
    I would like my account to be deleted. Not just closing the site, that I have done long ago, but deleting my account.
    Reasons are:
    * I dont want anything on the web by that nickname linked to me anymore.
    * Someone has been trying to reset my password, thus knowing my e-mail or login. I recieved a notification to my e-mail about that.

    Hi there. You cannot delete your wordpress.com username account. This is for security reasons so others cannot claim your username and impersonate you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

    But you can remove all personal information you added and effectively deactivate your account so no one will be able to access it. You can also change your username which will make the current one unavailable for anyone else to use, and you can create a throwaway email address and attach that to your account instead of the one you currently use. Then lock it up with a very secure password, and if you’re sure you won’t be wanting it back again, delete that email account so password recovery is impossible.
