Deleting my account due to frustration at lack of support
-
I have tried again and again to get support… I find no sufficient help. My blog/site is not showing up in google search and the place it does show up is linked to someone elses wordpress site. Google does not help me; wordpress does not help me. Im hoping maybe starting over will solve the problem. Im seriously frustrated with the whole process especially because there is no live human in real time to ask any questions to.
But Im wondering will this cancel my upgrade i paid for if I start a new blog? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. Did you set up your site with Google Webmaster Tools as Joel asked here:
-
But Im wondering will this cancel my upgrade i paid for if I start a new blog?
I would be happy to transfer your Domain Mapping upgrade to any new site you set up on WordPress.com.

Awesome news! Thank You!!
My new wordpress.com address is: ttholke.wordpress.com
I really appreciate it.
and I am hoping now I will no longer be linked to someone else’s site with this new address.
-
And are you going to map toddtholke.com to ttholke.wordpress.com? Or are you going to map a different domain?
-
-
And just so we’re on the same page, you have toddtholke.com registered somewhere and the nameservers set to point to WordPress.com?
-
Yes, I personally have Toddtholke.com registered with Hover and, my nameservers, as far as i understand are correctly pointing to wordpress.com.
-
Okay. I have made that switch for you.
toddtholke.com should point to ttholke.wordpress.com now.
-
Excellent. Thank you.
Now…. Do I have to do anything special for google to add it to their search OR will it just happen anyways if I leave it public?
-
Because once again I see it comes up first thing on both BING and YAHOO Searches, but no sign of it on google. I dont understand. Please advise me? I guess Im just not getting it or there is a block somewhere?

Google can take up to 4-6 weeks to index a site. Setting your site up with Google’s webmaster tools can help speed up the process.
