  I need to shut down this page, but can’t find anything about how to do it.

  Deleting a WordPress.com site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  If you are sure you want to delete your site, there are instructions for doing so here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/.

  To delete a WordPress.com hosted site you must be logged in as an Admin, with the username registered with the blog.

  If you would prefer to empty your site content and start over using the same WordPress.com address, you can empty your site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
