  WordPress.com is unable to delete your user account. This is covered in the Terms of Service when you sign up. You do have the option to inactivate your account and unsubscribe from all WordPress.com emails. Here are instructions to help you:

  Unsubscribe from emails:

  You may delete any blog(s) that you own with these instuctions:
  http://support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
  Please read carefully before you delete anything. If you delete the blog you will loose ownership of the URL.
