Deleting my name and email address in a contact form?

    I have created a contact form for my website. When I open it up, it shows my name and my email address as a default. How can I change that to make it be empty? I have tried to change the email in the form but that does not seem to work. Please help – thanks.

    That form shows the name and email ID of the logged in WordPress.com user automatically.

    Let’s say I am visiting your blog’s contact form page with my WordPress.com account logged in on the browser. It would automatically show my name and email ID there.

    If I am visiting that page without having logged in on my WordPress.com account, it wouldn’t show my name and email ID there.

    So, it’s a setting controlled by the contact form, based on the login condition of the visitor.
