Deleting my old wordpress blog so it no longer appears in google searches

Hello,
I no longer want my wordpress account and I have deleted the wordpress blog address – I never used it. However when I search google with my name it still comes up high on the listings, page one in fact. Please could you delete all trace of it for me? I am trying to maximise the chance of my website reaching the first page instead of old unused addresses.

Your site is still cached on Google’s servers. There is nothing WordPress.com can do. You may request a website removal from Google’s index through the website removal request tool.
