Deleting my posts on a linked wordpress site

I would appreciate support in deleting my posts on a linked WordPress site (as above). Each time I select trash on an individual post I made on the linked site, there is an error message. Thank you for your help.

By “select trash,” do you mean that you choose the “Move to trash” option in the post settings? If so, then what do you mean by it being a “linked site”?
If it’s a WordPress.com site and you’re a user on the site, then whether you can delete a post may depend upon your user role.

Can you tell us a bit more about the trouble you are having? You are trying to delete blog posts from this page, or from some other page? https://wordpress.com/posts/
What is the text of the error message you are seeing? It looks like you are using Chrome as your browser but what if you try a different one like Firefox instead? Is the issue only in Chrome or a problem no matter what browser you use?

Hi there,
Yes, that is correct. I am trying to delete blog posts that I authored on that page. When I try to move a post to trash I receive the error message: “an error occurred while deleting XXX”
With your suggestion I tried another browser but still no luck. I am thinking I no longer have control over my content and may have to contact the website administrator (which I am unfortunately getting email bounce back for).

Thank you so much for taking the time to assist me. I think you are right in that my user role does not allow me to delete the content I posted. I will have to find a way to contact the website administrator.
