Deleting my Site

  I’m trying to take my site down, and I followed the instructions on the site, but it asked me to cancel my auto payment, but when I get to the manage purchases page and there is no cancel option. I was wondering if it’s because I use paypal for my payment, but I’m just looking for help to cancel my payment and take down my site.

  I can cancel evelynheather.com for you if you would like to delete your site.

  So that we are on the same page, once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.
