Hi there,
If you are trying to delete a site that has upgrades, then only staff will be able to do so.
Also all WordPress.com plan users have access to priority Live Chat Support.. You will get faster response there.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/#how-do-i-access-live-chat-support
https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/I am tagging this question with the modlook tag on the Tags section of the sidebar. So this thread gets the staffs attention.
Read about the modlook tag here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question
Thank you.

You actually should be able to cancel any upgrades yourself apart from the never-expiring Premium theme: Port. Staff assistance is required to remove that although the theme could be transferred to a different site if you wished. And remember, deleting the site means your name/address will be lost forever. (Personally I would just set the site to private). As the modlook tag has been added can you return to this thread confirming that the site listed above is the one you intend to delete and that you no longer have a use for the theme attached to it (or even saying which site you’d like the theme moved to) and a staff member will oblige.

Hi @christinailisije, have you considered marking it as private and keeping it so you don’t lose that name/URL? If you wish to delete it, please confirm that here and we would be more than happy to help you with that.

Hi there,
Thank you all for the assistance. I would like to delete the site. And delete the port theme. christinailisije.wordpress.com.
The domain name that originally pointed to this old site was http://www.living-dance.com. That url now points to a new website (which I don’t want to disrupt in any way!).
Before we go ahead – deleting christinailisije.wordpress.com will delete my access to that name/url and it will not disrupt my new website (on a separate platform) that still uses living-dance.com, correct?
Also, if I wanted to create a wordpress site, fresh – in the future – I would be able to point it to my custom http://www.living-dance.com domain, again correct?
Thanks for the info and confirmation on these questions. Let me know if there is anything I need to do to confirm and completely delete the site.

Actually, what I’m realizing is – that it seems as if I still have two wordpress sites. Living Dance with the Optimizer theme is one I’m having even more trouble deleting.
Having this site up, alongside my new site is causing disruptions in traffic and searches.
My domain name http://www.living-dance.com needs to stay in tact – but just point to my non-wordpress site.
Help on deleting both?!

Hi there,
I’ve gone ahead and cancelled the Port theme on christinailisije.wordpress.com, so yu’ll now be able to delete that site. Deleting that site won’t have any effect on any other sites you own, be they on other WordPress.com accounts or self-hosted sites.
I don’t see another WordPress.com site in your account. Only christinailisije.wordpress.com, and the self-hosted site, living-dance.com, which is connected to your account via Jetpack.
What is the free *.wordpress.com address of the other site you want to delete?
If that Jetpack site is what you’re speaking of, that’s not a different site. That is your self-hosted website, but the Jetpack plugin you have installed on that site allows you to manage the site using your WordPress.com account. That’s why it’s listed in your account here even while we don’t actually host that site.

I am all set. Thank you. I called support and your team is helping me full delete everything and also remove the old site from search engines.
Thanks your help!
